The Trickster is the solo project of Samuel Newson. Currently age 17, the Oregon native attempts the impossible task of creating new and interesting music. Playing instruments from piano to saxophone and from guitar to wind pipe tuner The Trickster blends the music of Radiohead, The Pixies, REM, Joanna Newsom, and PJ Harvey.
The Tricksters first release was that of a demo disc entitled "Missing Persons".
