Mastodon And Opeth Team Up For American Tour

Mastodon and Opeth both released albums in 2011 that would prove to be incredibly divisive, so it makes perfect sense that the two are joining up for what I shall dub the "Blabbermouth Hates Us Now" tour. Coming along for the tour are masked Swedes Ghost. Mastodon is touring behind their well-received album The Hunter, and Opeth in support of their prog-rock departure Heritage. Lana Del Rey: A Post-SNL Reflection

In the wake of the ill-fated SNL debacle (and despite the pending release of her upcoming album), Lana Del Rey’s projected hot streak has seemingly cooled. But I'd rather talk about something more fascinating than her shockingly bad performance: the massive reaction that follow the event. Lana's show incited fiery flack from tons of critics, from nameless bloggers to big name... ...[read more]
