If the previous two days of Outside Lands were home runs, Sunday was certainly a grandslam. The overcast clouds of the previous two days cleared, and the music just kept getting better.
Sunday started off with blues-rocker Jackie Greene on the Lands End stage. Drawing a crowd as eclectic as his music Jackie and his backing band immediately got the crowd excited for the best day of music. Saturday started off on the right note: a morning cup from my favorite coffee house, It’s A Grind. But, assuming you don’t care all too much about my long awaited cup, I’ll fill you in on the music.
Arriving on time at the Sutro stage for Abigail Washburn & the Sparrow Quartet, I was surprised by the amount of people that had arrived for the first set of the day.
